Did you know, Plastic packaging is one of the biggest causes for the increase in pollution? A huge 40 percent of the plastics produced is packaging, that's an estimated 161 millions of tons of plastic used just once and then discarded!

From 2019 we intend to make a few changes that will help improve our environment; starting with our packaging! This year we are introducing the brand new Rio Roller duster bags that will replace the plastic packaging which skates are packed in. 100% cotton bags that can be used over and over to store your skates and keep them fresh when not in use! They will be included with our latest models, Rose and Signature Pop to begin, and by 2021 will have made their way across our entire collection.

We understand this is a small drop in the ocean of problems, but we want to do more than just being vegan friendly. Pollution and Animal Agriculture are where the changes are needed most. This will be our an ongoing mission we hope will make a change on how we behave.
